Mežaparka Biroji celebrates its “topping out”

The future office building Mežaparka Biroji at Ķelnes iela 1 had its topping out ceremony on 21 January to celebrate the highest point in the construction period. “Only four months have passed since the time capsule and its message to future generations was laid in the foundations. And, look – we’re already celebrating topping out. The main construction work is completed, which would not have been possible without the cooperation of our colleagues at Citrus Solutions. That is why I would like to thank everyone for their part in the development of this building and simultaneously the upgrading of life and work in Mežaparks,” noted SIA Domuss board chair Ralfs Jansons.

The building has three storeys with a total rental space of 3266 m². The planning includes two types of rental space: the first storey has several commercial spaces with individual entrances; the second and third storeys have modern office space. Visitor parking is located around the outside of the building, but parking spaces for office worker cars and bicycles will be located underground or in the adjacent above ground parking structure. Investments total 6,5 million euros. The building is planned to be completed in the autumn of 2019.

The building was constructed using sustainability principles. It has a class “A” energy efficiency certificate. The designer of the building is Gatis Didrihsons and the office of Didrihsons un arhitekti; the interior is designed by Eva Staņeviča.
